** spoiler alert ** I was ill-prepared for this web comic turned graphic novel. Nimona is quite a character - spunky, smart, powerful, funny, clever, vulnerable, protective, and much more. I very much enjoyed seeing her come to life on the page, with all of her complexities and so much to think and talk about. This was a story of friendships, and how good and evil can be more cloudy than you think. I liked it, but it wasn't one of those stories that make you close the book in amazement of how good it was. Some of the battle scenes were hard to tell what was happening in that frame.

Enjoy the context/setting and characters, addresses some interesting ethical issues as well that gives it depth and could connect to classrooms really well.
Aunque me hubiera gustado tener más explicación sobre el origen de sus poderes mágicos, me gustó mucho la historia, con todo y el final que tiene.
