What Members Thought
When I put this book down, I found myself wondering what would happen next which to me is a sign that I've connected on some level with the book and the characters. Wally Lamb's ability to write as a woman dealing with such a range of issues remarkably well. I found parts somewhat unbelieveable and difficult to swallow but I suppose that's what makes it fiction. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it and it was a very enjoyable read!

An enjoyable, yet disturbing, story of a young girl's mental breakdown over the years. I found myself losing interest in the character toward the end of the book.

Absolutely loved this story....one of my all time favorites!! The author does a magnificent job of getting inside the mind of the character. A must read!
I re-read this book every couple years. Absolutely captivating and in my all time top favorite books.
