I've always like Steve Martin, but now I love him. Of course he's funny, but he's also smart and apparently a good business man. I was completely engrosses in his journey. This book tells his story until right after The Jerk came out. He's such an interesting person and has a great story to tell, I recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

I always think it's cool to read about these celebs and how they got started. His tone is so flat and dry that interesting stories aren't super interesting.

Good read, a little slow. Really only highlights his career until he ends standup, and not much about his personal life.
