Everything you would expect from Cassie. Twists, turns, attractive boys, forbidden love, and more than a little magic. the prose is gorgeous, the dialogue hilarious, the plots solid, and the characters richly formed. I absolutely cannot wait for Lord of Shadows!

What I loved: MARK AND ALL REFS TO THE WILD HUNT. I want Mark's book please. I want to go on the wild hunt with them, that would be great. I loved how she described it through her characters and it wasn't enough. This book is a spin-off but I couldn’t find any explanation of the order you are supposed to read this book in conjunction with the other books. It says this is book one, but there is a whole world that is assumed that the reader knows-making a confusing beginning. That said once I got far enough into the book, I enjoyed it. I like the characters and their problems made the story line interesting.
