I am pretty sure I had a giant smile on my face the whole time I listened to this. Clearly this is required reading for anyone who lists The Princess Bride as one of their favorite movies, but this would be enjoyable for those who are due to revisit after seeing it years ago too.

A charming bit of nostalgia for fans of The Princess Bride. Cary Elwes gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the movie. He reads the audiobook, with almost every surviving cast member adding their voices as well.

I loved it!

Such a comforting and fun book! If you love the movie, you should definitely read this. It was such a treat getting an inside look at the making of such a beloved movie. Naturally, Cary's perspective made it even more entertaining. There are some tidbits from the other actors and creators of the film, as well, sprinkled throughout the book. Now, of course, I want to go watch the movie for the ten hundredth time. ...more
