I almost gave up on this book - finally at around page 115, i started to really like it. This is the story of Sadie, a somewhat disgraced London police officer who is on required holiday in Cornwall England. While there, she stumbles across the Loenneth, a lake house where in 1933 a baby disappeared one night.
