Picked this up for $5 at Wizard Con in Chicago and read it over a lunch break on a Friday a week later.
This guy, man, I don't know how he managed to write and understand the essence of being an 18 year old young woman, searching for friends, for belonging, but he nailed it, in a totally non-creepy way. Kudos to him.
Loved the line art and the words? Font? I'm not up on graphic novel terminology, but everything about this worked for me. ...more

O'Malley of Scott Pilgrim fame does a fantastic job at articulating just what it means to be a girl on the verge of adulthood, adrift, confused and pissed off at the end of a romantic liason, reminiscing and explaining where one lost her soul and best friend. I haven't related to a graphic novel like I did to this one in a very long time. FANTASTIC read with great re-read value.
