What Members Thought
This book is timeless, and I feel like I can drop in on the lives of Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy at any time and they're always there to welcome me like a long-lost friend. I love the 1994 film, with Susan Sarandon playing the part of "Marmee," Winona Ryder as "Jo," Claire Danes as "Beth," Kirsten Dunst as "Amy," and Christian Bale as "Laurie." When I was younger I had a juvenile version of this book - it was short and square with a pink cover - and I finally realized that this edition only contained

This book was more enjoyable than I expected. Even though it was written in the late 1800's, it has a lot of lessons that are still applicable to today. I can see why this is a classic and is enjoyed by many still today.
