Cute. Cute, cute, cute.
By the way, Anna and the French Kiss = Cute.
You know the cliche, "my teeth are hurting, that was so sweet"? That fits this book perfectly. I think it gave me several cavities in the few hours it took for me to devour it, and yes - I devoured it.
Sweet, real, funny (Oh so funny - laugh out loud funny), filled with perfect puppy-love, romantic atmosphere (can you get any more romantic than Paris?), friends, struggles, relationship drama, high school drama, boarding school dr ...more

This is just a delightful, fluffy, happy book. I felt good while I was reading it. And I definitely stayed up too late reading it, so I’m going to have a hard time crafting a cogent review.
If you’re looking for a fun escapist read about first love, look no further, you’ve found it! (CW: cancer is mentioned, and a girl is shamed for having had sex with a boy, so if you’re looking to escape those things, this might not ...more

I can't gush about this the way I would have a decade ago. Believe me, that had I read this as a teenager or college student, I would have found it DREAMY full-stop. But even old jaded married lady me totally fell for the real star of this book- Paris. And St Clair isn't really bad either. I could have wished for slightly more rounded characters, but the romantic relationships were spot on enough for me not to mind. Definitely a delightful read, even if it made me miss the City of Light even mor

What a great story! I read this book in 2 days. It would've been less, but I do have to work sometimes.
Anna is sent to France for her senior year. Of course she's not totally excited about leaving her best friend, family, and a new crush, but there she is. Everything changes once she meets Etienne though. Too bad he's taken.
Anna is such a cool chick and Etienne is flawed of course, but awesome. Even the minor characters were fantastic. This would be a great book to pass along to all those teen ...more

Such an adorable book and enjoyable read! Ahhh....first loves and high school. Such a breath of fresh air.
I loved the descriptions of the various places visited in Paris. I spent a year abroad there in college and it was almost like a walk down memory lane.

A nice young adult romance set in Paris. I enjoyed having got it in audio since I wouldn't know how to pronounce the French. Like most books of this ilk, lack of honest conversation and fear of rejection keeps the couple apart much longer than necessary. I did enjoy the friendship aspects of the book as well. A great fluffy read.
(One pet peeve: when kissing someone the person tastes like something foodlike. LIES...unless they just ate some food.) ...more

Can't believe this is Stephanie Perkins debut novel. Great characters and great dialogue against the background of one of the world's most romantic city. Loved this book and can't wait to read more from this talented author.
