So I'd say at the end of this book I feel more sympathy towards Rand and I like Nynaeve a little more.

Shelves: re-reads, fantasy

Reading the first part of this series again after almost 18 years! I struggle re-reading the first ones because I know what is going to happen, but still too foggy about details and unsure of where I left off to just pick up there.

Well it has taken me four months to read this book with much of that time spent putting this one aside to read other things that keep my interest. I still enjoy the series and will keep picking up the next book (later), but this was not my favorite of the series. Ther ...more
