I have never been so touched or so hurt by a book. It is, without question, my favorite book of all time.

My feelings on this books are super complicated and conflicted in places. Die hard fans may want to step away now, because I'm going to start with the fact I kind of had moments of love for everyone who were not Will and Tessa.

My first thought is: have your cake and it too, huh? She lived out a great life with Will that resulted in children and grandchildren and then gets to repeat that with Jem. Interesting, I guess?

Enjoyed this better than book 2. I had one frustration, which I can't discuss without spoilers, but overall I found the book an engaging and engrossing read and thoroughly enjoyed it.

A lovely end to this series and connection to Mortal Instruments. There were several places where the plot went in a completely different direction to the one I was expecting and it worked much better.
This veered down to a 2 for a bit, as I think it is too long and too repetitive with love triangle stuff. However the end redeemed it.
