This was a very silly story. The silliest of all the Shakespeare I've read - I even laughed a little bit at the awfulness of the play put on during the wedding.
I googled a little bit after I finished, and found lots of deep critiques finding all sorts of themes (the dark side of love, the loss of identity, homoeroticism, and so on) but I didn't see any of that. Not a huge Shakespeare fan. This was required at some point in HS, but I don't remember when. I liked the play that my school performed...my hubby was in it, but I didn't really know him at that time. I do like the movie with Calista Flockhart though.
