Book two in the Veronica Mars series. With Keith fully invested in Weevil’s upcoming trial, Veronica is on her own when she’s hired by the Neptune Hotel to investigate the claims of an assault victim who says she was raped, beaten, and dumped by the highway by an employee. As Veronica digs into the mystery, she finds that no one is telling the whole truth.
I'm torn reviewing this book. I love Veronica Mars and this is the only way to get my fix. However, the writing is so poor that I have a hard time paying any attention to the story. I may just need to stop reading these and pray for another movie. Veronica Mars gets 5 stars, this book does not!

I love all the characters from Veronica Mars so this was a fun revisit to that world. Adult content.
