I was happy at the beginning to be sucked into a book because I was reading another book that I couldn’t get into. As anyone who spends time on Facebook has to admit, voyeurism can be a bit addicting. I was at first intrigued by the mystery, and enjoyed the unreliable narrator since Rachel couldn’t remember what happened when she’d been drinking. Tardé un rato en entrar en la historia porque la protagonista no me permitió conocerla hasta unos capítulos después. Y una vez que sentí empatía por ella, fue muy difícil que no me afectara lo que le pasaba: iba de mal en peor y no parecía que nadie pudiera ayudarla. Sin embargo, la situación da un giro y las cosas se resuelven más o menos favorablemente.
