Bob was truly James' best mate, and their story will touch your heart. It's a story of family, second chances, destiny, mental health, and who is in your corner when the chips are down, and that can include even a beloved furry family member. Worth a read. I'll be watching the movie!

A pleasant book
I just finished this book - it is a quick read. Very heart-warming (shudder) and sweet. The story of James (human) meets Bob (cat) and the two save each other. James was living in London on the streets, former drug addict. He finds Bob and turns his life around. This is a sweet story and easy read.
