Cute story, fun plot, loved the characters. Over everything else, this book is important to everyone because it got parents and children reading together and sharing in the stories and movies to follow.
Young Harry Potter is accepted into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he finds himself surrounded by new friends, eccentric wizards, and jelly beans of every flavor. I love the Dursleys...wish Rowling would write something just with them!
I learned about fantasy and magic. It was a very engaging book.
Still my all-time favorite HP book.
