When I first started this, I was really unsure of what to think. I've read The Namesake and recently watched the movie and remembered how sad that was. So I wasn't sure what to expect.
I should start of by saying that I'm a HUGE baby. I practically cry at commercials and have, evidently, always been that way. I remember reading Where the Red Fern Grows when I was little, soaking in the tub, and totally BAWLING! I still haven't reread that...but I digress.

[Review from 2004.] This was definitely an enjoyable read (and I'm not usually a short story person), and I was impressed by the successful execution of first-person-plural in one of them, but (and this is a terrible thing to say), I kind of don't understand why it won the Pulitzer.
