Larsson really knows how to tell a story! I couldn't stop listening (reading) this one - truly great fun. I really like the main character - Lisbeth Salander - because she's not perfect (though a genius). I find female protagonists who aren't perfectly beautiful, who use their heads and who are occasionally completely unlikable to be very refreshing. On to book 3... ...more

This book wasn't nearly as good as the first one. There were some pretty contrived, and at times bordering on ridiculous, plot points and more characters than were needed. That said, after taking six months to read the first third I read the rest in three days. Guilty pleasure I suppose. I look forward to book three! ...more
