I read this in serial form, 10 minute increments, but I really wanted to race ahead and find out what happened. I enjoyed Wells' explanations of the future humans' evolutions. He seemed to have quite a grasp on society, I believe. His writing style was quite eloquent and he had an amazing storytelling style--precise, no overly flowery prose, got to the point succinctly. Very thrilling near the end as well. It was rather bleak but became quite a compelling cautionary tale for humanity. Rambling.. ...more
