Reading this again before I see the movie.
I read this years ago, before 2004, but I enjoyed it so much more this time.
I had forgotten more or less the whoe story in the years since I read it.
What a hard thing for a family to go through, the loss of a daughter or sister.

What a hard thing for a family to go through, the loss of a daughter or sister.
I enjoyed this book, but it wasn't amazing. It was a good read and one that I read quickly - I wasn't dragging my heels about finishing it - but in the end I didn't sit there and continue to think about it and its characters. Once I was done with it, I was done with it.
