There was a quote from a review of this book on the back cover, comparing it to Rebecca. Not even a little bit. The main characters were completely unlikable, and sometimes hard to distinguish from each other. They constantly made terrible decisions for no discernible reason, and treated the few sympathetic/interesting secondary characters so poorly.
