I read this in about 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon in the bookstore. It's sad and a little scary. But it's also encouraging because it's proof that no matter how you feel, there is someone else who feels the same way.

I've been meaning to read the PostSecret books for awhile. I can see why people like them so much. There is power in the anonymous confessions. Secrets are generally not positive things, so this is a pretty dark, sad collection of things. I hope the people who wrote the postcards had the courage and resources to deal with their problems in more ways than just sending a postcard. Jill gave me this book for Christmas last year and I really liked it. Not only because the postcards get sent to a town in Maryland close to where I live, but it is fascinating to read what some people have as their deepest, darkest secrets. It is somewhat depressing what some of the people wrote.
