It was okay. I felt some important and difficult things were treated too lightly and the author handled the span of time a little awkwardly. I liked some of the characters (Lambiase, Amelia) and felt no connection to others (like Maya).
A books about books. That is what made me pick up this book to start with. The times I wanted to stop and write down quotes were numerous like:
"no man is an island; every book is a world"
"she adores Humbert Humbert as a character while accepting the fact that she wouldn't really want him for a life partner, a boyfriend, or even a casual acquaintance." (puts into words why I still love a book while hating every character between its pages sometimes)

Not too believable but I read it pretty quickly and don't regret reading it.
