Things I don’t understand about Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina:
1. Why it’s so damn long. 2. Why it’s called Anna Karenina 3. Why anyone loves this book
This took me an entire year to finish. It just wasn’t for me. Mostly because it was TOO DAMN LONG. Most of the chapters were about nothing. Literally. But had it been shorter, like by HALF, and more focused on the relationships I think I would’ve maybe given an extra star.

I disliked this book immensely. I just don't do Russian authors, I guess. It was depressing, it was full of sin and consequences of sin, I hated the ending...blah! Granted, I read this book in high school...I might feel differently about it as an adult...if I could bring myself to pick it up again!

Loved this book. So many characters and settings, but drawn out so well. I could picture everything that I read easily. I loved everyone in it! I can't believe I took so long to read it. My only wish is that it had been even longer so I could keep reading :)
