Sad story, but written more as a factual account. Enjoyable read that helped me learn a bit more about the law. A terrible crime that almost wasn't even solved.

Capote is like the father of all true-crime authors and this type of book was unheard of when it was released in 1965-66. Harper Lee, author of To Kill A Mockingbird, helped Capote do the research for this. Not as good as I had hoped, but definitely groundbreaking in the genre.
