I listened to this on audiobook with my daughter. Since we primarily listened in the car, it was so hard to not switch over to it when she wasn't with me. But I was good... Most of the time.
I have encountered stories like this before, but this one still caught me. The suspense and the way the story was built up was amazing, and my daughter and I so regularly shot out theories about the mystery surrounding the story, but we never saw it coming.

Very good writing, great pacing & description. Great for teens who read sad books.
Had to re-read this one to prepare for the upcoming new book. All I can say is, WOW again. Read in 2014 and again in 2022…I almost gave up on this one but WOW! What an AMAZING book. Definitely a must read.
Intriguing at times, but also a little bit boring at times. I made sure not to get spoiled, as I kept seeing that it was all about the surprise ending, but I mostly guessed it.
Wasn't a huge fan of the story. I figured out the ending about 3/4 of the way through the book.
