Upon finishing this strange and lovely book, my first thought was, "Wow. That was beautiful."

I was immediately hooked by Ava's first words in the Prologue:

I really loved this book and then KABLOOMERS, DESTRUCTION. but it was gorgeous and full of stupid sad people, and a huge ass dog, and that was nice. ultimately better than most of our book club books, despite the shit that everyone hated.
