Mindblowingly awesome.
This book is the most amazing collection of stories, every one of them a psychadelic drug trip full of people acting like the bizarre is normal, because they no longer have the energy to care.
The entire thing feels so effortless, like floating. I didn't want it to end.

The reader for the audiobook version of this book is a perfect match for the narrator of these loosely connected short stories. The stories are told from the perspective of an ordinary screwed up alcoholic drug user who is just going about his life. He is optimistic about humanity despite the lousy condition of his own life in many of the stories.
