I am in love with this book!!!! Seriously. I thought I'm over YA romance but turned out I'm still smitten with Ari and Dante's love story :D

I know some of the dialogues are repetitive, silly, and cheesy- but it is better than the over pretentious dialogues in most YA books. Also, I think all parents in this book are too good to be true, considering their background and also the setting of the story. But... nevermind! I still love the book!

I picked up this book with the beautiful cover and intriguing title at the library. It was shelved on display with other Oregon Battle of the Books titles for 9-12 graders so I was intrigued.

I read this book in a day. It was a perfect road trip read. I loved almost everything about this beautifully written novel. The characters, family relationships, family stories and friendships were written so believably and so well. I loved the first 335 pages of this book. I was planning a 5 star rating up ...more
