Didn't think I would finish this one. Not that I didn't like it, but at times the absurdity of it all just made it too difficult to go on.
Catch-22, looks at war and the bureaucracy that accompanies it, through episodes of absolute hilarity. This is one of the few books that is a miss for Adam's recommendations to me. I'm told the reason is because I lack a sense of humor. It is true that I did not find this book funny (apparently it is), and I just plain didn't get a lot of it. And in the end, that didn't really bother me. I never learned to like Yossarian, so his fate--whether good or ill--was not of any importance to me.

It's another depressing book. I have a really hard time with the dark humor and feel like maybe I missed the point.
