I'm starting to get a little sick when it comes to the flip-flopping I do on these Percy Jackson books!
So in THE BATTLE OF THE LABYRINTH there were things I really liked such as:
- The addition of adding "clear-sighted" humans to the mix.
- Calypso and her curse - fantastic scene (just too short)
- The struggle Nico has. It's portrayed very well - especially since Nico has such a hard role to play.
But again.. I got a bit bored about halfway through. I feel like I'm sounding like a broken record her ...more

Oh, Percy...I'm so glad I'm not a 15 year-old boy. It was bad enough being a girl at 15, but I think it's more difficult for boys. They're just so clueless.

Reading this at night with my fave girl. She loves this series...she listens to most of them on audiobook before she goes to bed but she still favors me reading them to her instead. Sometimes we switch off and I close my eyes and hear just what a good reader she has become. *sigh*
