This was so much more fun and interesting than I anticipated! I'm so glad I gave it a try.
Things I liked:
Fantastically detailed answers that are easy to understand.
Great dry humor.
I literally laughed out loud, AND I learned a few things!
Things I didn't like:
I wanted more science and more actual equations.
There's a lightning section but he doesn't answer the question I've always wondered: why don't all the ocean creatures die when lightning strikes the ocean?

I absolutely loved this. I've known about Munroe's comic webcomics for a while now but I much prefer getting his awesome wit and explosions of knowledge (and knowledge about explosions) in this type of format. I almost never read non-fiction and I don't think I've ever tore through a non-fiction book as fast as this one. I didn't want to put it down! He takes seemingly simple questions and literally blows your mind with the answers, sprinkling in nerdy pop-culture references along the way. Not o
