Alexa gets stuck in an elevator Drew and winds up as his date to his ex's wedding--and then his fake girlfriend--and then in a long distance fling with him. This was really delightful, sweet and snarky and adorable. I love both of them. I love how her Blackness and his whiteness played roles in their experiences in natural ways. I loved watching them get closer and closer and stay so clueless, especially Drew. Everything felt earned. Overall, just a really fun read.

I was a little worried that this book wasn't going to live up to the hype. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was drawn in from page 1. By page 10 I'd fallen in love with both our hero and heroine, and by page 20 I knew I was going to finish this book in a day or two. At times funny, touching and sexy, this had enough depth of character and plot that you really were rooting for Drew and Alexa. Highly recommended.
