I enjoyed this more than I was expecting. I haven’t had luck with either of Lu’s other series, so I was skeptical. It’s similar to Ready Player One, with the immersive virtual reality, and the questing. But it also reminded me a lot of The Hunger Games (except no one actually dies because it’s all virtual). I kind of saw the final twist coming, but I’m definitely interested to see where the next book goes.
