I love book clubs. I love my library book club. Reading book club books pushes you to read books by authors new to you, books that won awards but missed out on publicity buzz. This is a devastatingly beautiful book about love (parental love, sibling love, romantic love) and is very different from other books I have read featuring extremists as it focuses on the ways in which the family members of extremists are affected by their actions and how those actions affect their relationships. Very interesting and captivating read!
