A re-read (I have a small Nostalgia Project going). Just as funny and goofy as ever. And since it was Towel Day, it was a perfect day to start a re-read.
And narrated by Stephen Fry in my head because he was straight up perfect in the movie. So my brain borrowed him.

So much fun. And read by Stephen Fry, which was interesting because even the parts of the Guide he narrated for the movie he read differently here.
I read that this book started as a radio series, which makes so much sense. I think that serialized comedy episodes would have been pretty funny. But pulled together as a novel this was boring and underwhelming.

Terrific to re-read. And I like the cover design of this printing so much more than I like every other cover for this series ever made. The dumb green thing with arms? Worst.
This is a fun read, but I think I would have enjoyed it more when I was younger.
The movie was better!
