After reading the 1888 version's introduction by Mary Shelley I got excited about the book but when it came down to it I felt that the story was disjointed. All the expanding of the story at her husbands "suggestion" was obvious and it seems that her voice was only heard in that of the monster's.

it's completely different than the movies. if you can get over the language, it's pretty good.
