Livro interessantíssimo que discute ciência mas, sobretudo, a responsabilidade do Homem sobre o que cria. É impossível não ser movida pela história do Monstro, assim como é fácil (ainda que talvez não seja o mais correcto) perceber Viktor e a sua distanciação de algo que cria e julga horrível. No entanto, a sua criação não é uma que se possa rasgar e deitar fora, tendo ali o seu fim mas uma que responde de volta com consequências trágicas.
