Holy catfish! That was a fun and exciting read - quite the page-turner! If I hadn't had a weekend with almost no downtime I think I would have finished this in a day or two, tops.

A girl falls into a hole and lands - on a giant robot hand. And it goes from there.

So many questions! So much to look forward to in the next installment of the series. Who is the blasted interviewer? Or Mr. Burns? OMG, that epilogue tho!!!!!

Very excited to see where this one goes. :D

Just the escapism I needed. 3 solid stars for the story and an extra tacked on for the fantastic audiobook cast performance. Can't wait to see this on screen. ...more

I loved this book - the story was so interesting and fun and full of crazy things happening, the characters are great (my favorite is the interview guy who has no name), and the end was like WHOA. Furiously reading the second one as I write this.

Entertaining and imaginative premise, but it lacked the kind of depth I was looking for. I thought World War Z and The Martian were much better overall.

A girl falls into a giant robot hand in the woods. How can that NOT be the beginning of an amazing story?!

I really enjoyed this. Giant robots, shadowy conspiracies, maybe aliens? Looking forward to the rest of the series.
