Loved the story and loved the style. Could be me tapping into another one of my geekdoms, but I can totally see this making a pretty cool movie...or even better, an HBO/AMC TV series.

the audiobook recording I listened to was absolutely fantastic, and that may have played a role in how much I loved this book, but man I could NOT put this book down (or stop listening as it were). the format of interviews and report logs as the way the story is told absolutely drew me in and the seemingly omnipitent nameless (for the most part) interviewer was a wonderful vehicle for the story. can't wait to read the next one. ...more

I thought this was an interesting alien story, the storytelling style was unique and mostly worked, although the things the characters were willing to tell their unnamed government official was a stretch. I finished it, so that is something.
