With just 24 minutes before midnight on New Year’s Eve I finished this book to reach my 2021 reading goal! It was sweet. I had a few issues with it but overall I enjoyed it.

This was fun and fluffy. I particularly enjoyed the love story, because I was not quite sure who she was going to end up with.

The author’s note at the beginning made me laugh.

One of the things I don’t like about “chick lit “ is that the protagonists are often idiots. And that was the case here. I just didn’t like Nina - she made a series of completely idiotic decisions. I have no idea where I got this book. It was just yet another book in the pile of books that I have accumulated. I read it with the intention of putting it in the re-sale pile (Powell's is the best) but after reading it, I LOVE IT. I will be keeping it, thank you very much.
