Shelves: format-ebook

This set of loosely connected stories has everything I love - quirky, a little magical realism, a great sense of humor - but it was hard going to follow along. I kept losing track of the characters (love X-ray on the Kindle) and having to re-read to keep up. Maybe it just wasn't the right time for me and this book; thinking I might try again next summer when things aren't quite so crazy in the rest of my life! ...more

Didn't quite finish (85%) but I enjoyed most of the stories! I loved the first one so much that I forgot this was a book of short stories and was a little sad when it ended. Many of these stories are weird, but in a good way! I'll have to check it out again from the library so I can read the last couple. ...more
