Summer 2016 Bingo - Published before 1900.

Well ugh. I know I wrote a review, but it wasn't a great one, so I'm not going to try to recreate it. I'll just say I did enjoy the book, especially the time period and the New Orleans setting. I found the early feminism theme to be really interesting...I didn't know women were writing about that before 1900!

I also need to give a shout out to Elizabeth Klett for the Librivox narration. She's excellent; highly recommend everything she reads! ...more
