A very touching book narrated by the author. Beautiful storytelling that gives a glimpse into lives very unlike my own.

I never read this for school, but always heard how incredible it was, so I got the audiobook where Sandra Cisneros reads it herself. Not only is it as beautiful as people say it is, bit Cisneros is a magnificent reader. To some, saying that the author is great at reading her own work sounds obvious, but many authors are just not good at it. Cisneros is amazing, and brings her book to life in a way only her voice can.
