Some crazy person commented on a book that I read a long time ago and basically told me that what I thought about the book was wrong and I missed the point. So I've been thinking a lot about the readers's experience. We learn in RA that it is the Right Book for the Right Reader at the Right Time. I liked the last bit of this, but most of this book just annoyed me. If a character like Audrey Griffin came after me, I'd tell her what she could do with her blackberry vines. Also, the whole Sue-Lynn Lee Seegal storyline bugged me. Read the book so I could watch the movie, but now I'm not sure I want to.

I would have given it a 3.5. Solid beach read- even if you weren't really at the beach and visiting family in Houston, Texas instead
