Wow, so this book was funnier than I expected! It's a great satire of tech culture, and upper middle-class suburbia. Bee is one of the most realistic teenagers I've seen in a while. It has things I love: unreliable narrators all over, plus it's an epistolary novel.

I listened to the audio version of the book, and think I may have liked it more if I had read it. Basically, it was ruined for me by the narration: I thought Bea came off as an 8 year old, instead of a girl of 15. All the women's voices came off as way over the top for me. I've seen many 5 star reviews of the audiobook, but it just didn't work for me!
