My first thought was that I'm glad I didn't ever read this in my French classes. Though, I suspect that some of the language in this book which I felt was beautiful in English is probably even better in French.

However, I did find this book a bit weird and superficial at times, though the message from the book is supposed to be deep and profound. I also just felt sad for the author. It seems like he had all these deferred dreams, and had been let down by grown-ups. Anyway, I'm going to share some
