Firstly to qualify the voracity of my reading of late. I am traveling for work and spending a month in a unit by myself so before and after work I have nothing to do but read. I have set myself a challenge to not watch any TV so I can catch up on my TBR.
This book was lovely. A slow and interesting tale of a huge change in the social structure of Britain. It really showed the varied social structures of the time.

Golly, this is a great book.
One of the best books I've read recently. Who knew that getting a glimpse into a British butler's psyche would be this good?
