I think this will be a book that will stick with me for a long time...I don't know if I loved it. It was...very different. Some of it was incredibly engaging. But the ending was certainly confounding, and made me think, and...I am not sure WHAT to think. But in a way I do like the open-endedness of it all. My roommate told me this book would inspire me to believe in God. It taught me how to train a tiger if I ever find myself sharing a life-boat with one. The writing style is beautiful, but becomes a bit tedious and repetitive at times. The ending was also unsatisfactory and made me angry. In that respect, I guess I did engage with the book more than I originally thought.
