If it were still summer, I could probably bring myself to power through this. But since school has started, I have increasingly less patience for this slow-moving, over-stuffed nonsense. My free time is suddenly very valuable! I'm willing to give this a shot over a break, but for now I am admitting defeat.

I reread the whole series in anticipation of this book, and I relished it. The middle book still is probably my favorite, but the conclusion was definitely worth the wait. Great read.
While better than the second, I think this book doesn't do the first one justice. The pacing was off for me, and it went from creepy to cheesy without much nuance.
